My 1.5 year old kitty has gingivitis ( as do his 2 brothers). The first vet I went to recommended an $850 dental with possible extractions so I went to Dr Megan for a 2nd opinion. She spent so much time with me talking about Mickey’s dental issue. She showed me pictures of what to look for in case it gets worse which it may or may not. She’s not recommending any serious treatment at this point but to watch and see if the gingivitis or dental disease gets worse. She did recommend some gel To put on their teeth and a treatment to add to their water that helps coat their teeth. I’m so happy I shot a second opinion and feel very confident with Dr. Megan‘s recommendations.

At Milner Veterinary they are amazing, courteous, and clearly passionate about animals. Each vet I get is always top notch and their techs are knowledgeable and nice. When I have had to leave Doc there for the day, they call and give me updates. Then, they always call to check in on Doc a few days after a visit, which means a lot in today’s busy world. Never experienced a vet clinic like theirs and I won’t need to try again because I will be a customer for life! I even live 20 miles away with lots of options in between but choose to go there because they are the best.

Dr. Steve is truly an animal lover, full of compassion and understanding! Everything he does with my dog is with gentleness and try caring. He is partial to Golden Retrievers I think, having adopted his Gus from Golden Bond Rescue, and Gracie, being a rescue dog herself, knows that she is in his good hands! He always explains what he's doing, and if treatment is required he presents all the options and their respective pros and cons...I am grateful that Dr. Steve is in Oregon City! He does honor to his profession!
